Carlos Moreno - President
Carlos Moreno majored in biopsychology at San Jose State University in
California. In addition, he pursued a broad field of study, including
anthropology, chemistry, philosophy, Latin and nonlinear physics. It
was technology, its uses and benefits which drove him to pursue a
knowledge and career in interaction design. Since 1996, Carlos has
designed, developed, and been project manager for many websites and
web-based applications. As the president of Toydrum, he keeps the group
grounded in a scientific approach and ensures the creation of
quantifiable results for clients with each project.
What is it that you feel you bring to Toydrum?
Spirit.
What does it mean to be the president of Toydrum?
It's my responsibility to see that our innovative process continues to
flourish.
What do you enjoy most about Toydrum?
I love the tying together of what at first seem to be disparate
concepts. We're taking design concepts and theories and using them
to fuel the development of software, interaction design, and
interface programming. Conversely, we're taking methods used in
programming and using them to map out creative design projects.
I love the fact that we're able to weave together people of different
mindsets, cultures, and ways of thinking and use all that energy to
innovate. |
