Community
Community is important to us. It's the place where we started our company,
the place where we have been able to learn and grow, and the place where we
use what we have learned to help others - in helping a company grow, or
helping an organization reach out to more people, or in teaching others
what we know, so that they can then take that knowledge and run with it.
Toydrum has demonstrated its commitment to the community by providing technology consulting, resources, and web & software services to such organizations as the Coalition of Hispanic Organizations, Tulsa Now, Coalition of Historic Neighborhoods , and Young Professionals of Tulsa – as well as many minority media companies in the Tulsa area.
In April 2003, Toydrum participated in National Fair Housing Month with the Tulsa Area Fair Housing Partnership, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development to distribute bilingual information via all of Tulsa’s Hispanic newspapers. The publication, “It’s All About Housing” was well-received and continues to be a resource for HUD when giving info to the Hispanic Community.
Toydrum, in association with the Oklahoma Association of Film and Video Professionals has produced the film production guide for the State of Oklahoma, unifying film and video technicians and support service companies in the Oklahoma region.
In the last year, we’ve consulted on several political projects, advising on methods for campaigns to reach the public using online methods. This consulting experience gives us the ability to take the next step and build, from the ground up, an integrated online presence for political campaigns and community organizations wishing to reach a large grassroots base of support via the worldwide web.
Below are a list of the organizations to which we have given our time and passion.
