Midwest Precision
Midwest Precision performs precision metal fabrication for the aircraft,
electronics, military and general manufacturing industries. That doesn't
sound too exciting, but creating an engaging and impressive-looking website
for a metal fabricator is eactly the challenge that we were presented with
for this project.
Beginning in 1973, Midwest Precision has grown to be the most versatile
sheet metal fabricator in this region. The company offers unique processes
such as automated laser production, 5-axis laser cutting, and waterjet
machining, in addition to all of the equipment necessary to fabricate any
sheet or plate metal assembly.
We sought out to try to capture everything the company does through
photography. We spent the day taking photos of all their machinery, their
process, the different talented people that were using all the machines, and
some of the great end-result peices generated. We really wanted to capture
the sense of a person taking a tour through their shop. ...and as if the
photos on the website itself were not enough, the site also has a photo
gallery section. where Midwest Precision can continue to post photographs of
their most recent projects.
